Description
Literature Circles are small, peer-led discussion groups whose members have chosen to read the same article, book, or novel. They may be used in any content area that requires thoughtful reading. They require careful development, special tools, well-chosen text, problem solving strategies, and sound assessment. This workshop addresses getting started, sustaining and assessing literature circles in mid-level and high school classrooms.
