DHS License – Even though the majority of afterschool programs are not mandated to have a license from DHS, as of January1, 2005, all 21st CCLC programs are required to make plans to receive an after school license. All grantees must have a license on file by September 1, 2005, in order to receive funding. A copy of the license shall be sent to ADE by September 1, 2005. If you already have a license, please mail a copy to Dee Cox, ADE.
MGT – All programs are reminded to enter attendance in a timely manor. Many programs are not entering data and upon “pulling” statewide numbers, the data is skewed. It is imperative that program maintain adequate attendance. Future funding will be in jeopardy for failure to submit timely attendance and information to MGT.
