Educator Licensure
The Office of Professional Licensure of the Arkansas Department of Education has the responsibility of issuing licenses for pre-school through Grade 12 teachers and administrators. The Office is located in Rooms 106-B and 107-B of the Arch Ford Education Building, Four Capitol Mall, in Little Rock, and is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

General licensure information on teachers and administrators may be accessed at the following Web site address: https://aregs.state.ar.us. Note: If you receive a warning that there is a problem with the website's security certificate, please click on the option, "Continue to this website."
Please follow the steps below to access information on the site:
- Enter the following for both the login and password: admin
- Click on button marked "Login."
- Click on APLS: Arkansas Professional Licensure System.
- Select the button next to the phrase "Applicant Search."
- Click on button marked "Continue."
- Enter the Social Security number of the teacher/administrator.
- Click on the button marked "Search."
- Select the button underneath the phrase "Select."
- Click on button marked "PL Limited View."
